Midget C
The Graham Construction Ltd Midget C (Reigh’s) Mariners played Acadia 1 at the Mariners Centre in a league game that ended in a 3-3 tie.
Scoring for Graham Construction Ltd Midget C (Reigh’s) were Tyrese Gabriel, Evan Locke and Nick d’Entremont. Assists went to Logan Shaw with 3 and Dominic Higby and Jared Sanford each with 1.
In nets was Logan Leaman.
Bantam AA
The Wade’s Wire Traps Yarmouth Bantam AA Mariners defeated Acadia 7-3 in league action at the Mariners Centre on Saturday, Jan. 19.
Jory Stewart scored 2 goals and had 2 assists. Other goals were scored by Owen Penney and Cameron Kerr each with 2, while Jaden Kerr netted one. Assists went to Ben LeBlanc with 2, and Spencer Surette, Ryder Travis and Jaden Kerr each had one. Izaac Deveau was in net.
Bantam A
On Saturday, Jan. 18, Nova’s Finest Fisheries Bantam A Mariners played at the Windsor Exhibition arena against West Hants and won by a score of 3-1. Goals for the Mariners were scored by Dalton Sears, Lucas d’Entremont and Tyler MacLeod. Tayvon Gabriel was in net for the win.
On Sunday, Jan. 19, the team travel to Bridgewater to take on the South Shore Lumberjacks. The Mariners won 3-2. Scoring for the Mariners were Riley Hubbard, Luke MacLeay and Dalton Sears. Braeden Hipson and Tayvon Gabriel shared the net for the win.
Atom B
The Yarmouth Pink Star Barro Atom B Mariners played Chester Ravens on Saturday, Jan. 19. Goal scorers were Lucas Cushing, Dana Hill, Carl Landry, Andre Hill and Jake Sanford. Assists by Parker LeBlanc, Andre Hill, Carter Amiro, Jake Sanford and Tyler Sutherland. Zander White was in net.
The final score was Yarmouth Mariners 8 – Chester Ravens 3.
Peewee A
The GPK Refrigeration PeeWee A Mariners came away with a win this past weekend, defeating the Shelburne Flames 2-1 Saturday on the road.
Goals for Yarmouth were scored by Lucas Cottreau and Blake Newell, with assists coming from Connor Pothier, Blake Newell, Lucien Doucette and Lucas Cottreau.
The Shelburne Flames goal was scored by Jack Atkinson assisted by Lucas Nickerson and Garron Goreham.
Peewee A
Western Riptide White peewee A girls were at home for three games this past weekend. The first game was a 4-4 tie against Metro West Force Black. The second game was a 6-2 win against Metro East Inferno Red and the third was a 6-0 win against Metro East Inferno Red.
The previous weekend the Western Riptide peewee A girls were on the road for two games. The first was a 1-1 tie against Metro West Force Blue. Issabelle d’Entremont had the lone goal.
The second game was a 6-0 win against Metro East Inferno Gold. Issabelle d’Entremont and Katie Atkinson each had 2 goals and Marissa Fevens and Isabel Doucette each had one goal. The assists went to Kiersten Kenney, Renee Olsen, Marissa Fevens, Kalli Goreham and Issabelle d’Entremont.
