Meals on Wheels

Seniors who have difficulty preparing their own meals can sign up for Meals on Wheels, which delivers from Meteghan to Saulniervi­lle and the surroundin­g area. The program, which receives funding from the Conseil de Sante de Clare, is aimed at providing nutritious meals to seniors and to give them a chance to socialize with a food delivery volunteer. Trinity United Church, located on the corner of John and Hammond Streets in Shelburne, is presenting a fundraiser featuring oven-and freezer-ready meals of meat lasagna or macaroni and cheese, available in three sizes: small (5” x 7”, two servings) for $7; medium (6” x 8”, three servings) for $11; and large (9” x 11”, family size) for $16.
