Tourism cooperative unveils innovative room availability calendar
The Souh Shore Tourism Cooperative has launched what it is calling a groundbreaking Room Availability Calendar on the website www.visitsouthshore.ca.
This new feature is set to revolutionize the way tourists and travelers plan their visits to the beautiful South Shore region of Nova Scotia, the cooperative says.
The Room Availability Calendar aims to provide visitors with real-time information on the availability of accommodations from Barrington (Lobster Capital of Canada) to Peggy’s Cove and all ports and parts in between, says the cooperative, adding this userfriendly tool allows travelers to conveniently browse and book accommodations with ease, ensuring a seamless and stress-free planning process.
"We are excited to introduce the Room Availability Calendar as a valuable resource for travelers exploring Nova Scotia’s South Shore," says Stephanie Miller Vincent, coordinator for South Shore Tourism Cooperative. "With this new feature, visitors will have access to up-to-date information on room availability, empowering them to plan their trips with confidence and discover the exceptional hospitality the South Shore has to offer."
The Room Availability Calendar offers a comprehensive overview to travelers of accommodations available in the region. Users can filter their search based on preferred dates, accommodation type, and other specific requirements, ensuring a personalized and tailored experience.
This feature, created through a shared vision with Digital Fusion Inc. of Bridgewater, is also made possible to members of South Shore Tourism Cooperative through the Tourism Digital Assistance Program.
The Tourism Digital Assistance Program is an initiative of Tourism Nova Scotia, in partnership with Digital Nova Scotia. The program aims to help eligible tourism businesses increase their visibility online and provide the services customers expect, such as online booking.
