Cannondale Slice 105

Triathlon Magazine Canada - - Section Subsection -

This is an excellent entry-level bike that performs well beyond its price point. With its stable geometry, the Slice handles like a road bike with excellent road-vibration management. Featuring a twoposition aero seatpost ( 73 to 78 degrees for triathlon or uci legal time trial), the Slice allows riders to customize fit. The carbon frame, aerodynamic tube shapes and Aero Save micro-suspension optimize road vibration management. Standard road brakes, a normal stem/ steerer design, straightforward cable routing and vertical rear dropouts are less aerodynamic than integrated setups, but are accessible and easy to use and service. The drivetrain is speced with a rational mix of Shimano 105 and Tiagra 4600. It’s the perfect gift for any new but committed triathlete.
