There’s a reason you see so many of the pros bikes tricked out with CeramicSpeed gear in transition – the company specializes in getting the most out of your ride by finetuning many of the moving parts on your drivetrain. The Oversized Pulley Wheel System is available for many types of derailleurs – this version is designed for the Ultegra and Dura Ace gruppos.

The system utilizes 17-tooth aluminium pulley wheels fitted with CeramicSpeed bearings. They are available in either red and black (you need to look good as well as go fast, right?), which are housed in a polyamide and carbon cage.

It all adds up to huge power savings, according to CeramicSpeed’s testing – they claim these pulleys will provide 30 to 60 per cent power savings over a stock system.—KM
