RACE DAY TIPS
• Think about your transition area set-up beforehand, especially the order in which you’ll need the gear for the next leg of the race.
• Thank a volunteer and stick around to cheer on other racers. • Preparation helps me be a little less anxious on race day. Check out the swim, ride and run the course ahead of time if you can, or at least drive it so you know what to expect. Practice your transition – getting trapped in your wetsuit is no fun. And, no, you can’t pull on a jersey if you’ve already strapped on your helmet.
