$680 With a circular contour, the Polar Vantage V weighs just 66 g, and is one of the lighter all-purpose, high-performance GPS watches on the triathlon scene. The Polar Vantage V quite literally does it all, offering you information on everything from sleep monitoring to 130 different activity profiles.

Easy accessibility, pairing capability and access to software updates, is a must when it comes to GPS watches. You can also connect your Polar account to third-party training platforms to share with your followers, while the Flow App allows you to easily sync your sleep and activity files, too.

The Polar Vantage V uses Training Load and Recovery Pro programs to quantify the training strain on your body using heart rate and power measurements, and to provide you with recovery feedback. Polar’s Running Index provides feedback on your running form by analyzing HR, power tracking, cadence and pace information. (Before the Vantage V, power tracking was only possible from a foot pod, but with the Vantage V, it’s done from the wrist.

The Vantage V uses GPS + GLONASS tracking technology which makes it possible to accurately record data in urban and rural areas. Whether your swimming, biking, running or doing one of the 130 different sports profiles, the Vantage V will track your sessions – rest assured.

After five years without a considerable upgrade to Polar’s GPS watch product line, the Polar Vantage V and M (without power tracking) off a fresh new look to the Finnish sports brand.—CAMERON MITCHELL
