Tulmar Safety Systems, a Hawkesburybased provider of safety and survival equipment to global aerospace and defence industries, was selected by Airbus as one of 20 Canadian companies showing the most promise for developing business with Airbus or with one of its top suppliers. Tulmar was invited to the Airbus Global Supplier Conference in Montreal on October 25 to showcase its capabilities. “We are very fortunate to be identified as a company Airbus wants to do more business with,” said Barney Bangs, Tulmar’s President and CEO. “There are over 400 aerospace companies in Canada and to have landed among the top 20 “champions”, as Airbus refers to it, is a great honor.”
