Ber­wick woman ar­rested after a shot was red

SACKVILLE, N.B. — A 21-year-old woman from Ber­wick has been ar­rested fol­low­ing an in­ci­dent earlier this week in Sackville where po­lice say a shot was red. Around 1 a.m. on Thurs­day, the Sackville de­tach­ment of the South­east District RCMP was called to a home on Wel­don Street where a shot had been red. No one was in­jured. Alyssa Mar­garet Kelly was ar­rested later that morn­ing in Antigo­nish by RCMP. She ap­peared in court in Monc­ton on Fri­day. Kelly has been charged with ac­ces­sory after the fact to care­less use of a rearm, and pos­ses­sion of a pro­hib­ited weapon.
