Robie Ger­ald Fisher – 68, Up­per North River, left this life sud­denly on Septem­ber 9, 2017 with his true friend, and buddy

Kenda by his side.

Born in Selma,

Hants County on

May 19, 1949, he was the son of the late Alexan­der and Ida (Al­li­son)

Fisher.

He is sur­vived by his best friend and com­pan­ion of 21 years, Lave­nia Langille; chil­dren, Ron­ald, Sherry (Chris Clark); step chil­dren, Jeff (Mar­garet) Langille, Kenda (Joey Ship­ley); brother, Lorne (Brenda); sis­ters, Jean (Don­ald) Shaw, Vera Scul­lion, Ruth (Lou) Wam­bolt, Linda Fisher, Mar­lene (Pat) Flynn, Wanda Fisher (Steve Booth); for­mer wife, Stella Clark; spe­cial grand­chil­dren, Cameron and Robie, Solo­man, Anna, El­iz­a­beth, Cody, Ja­cob, Jamie, Brook­lyn, Raielee; sis­ters in law, Penny Crowe (Ce­cil Hill), Joanne Gra­ham (Dar­ren Cameron); sev­eral nieces and neph­ews, K-9 com­pan­ion, Pete.

Along with his par­ents, Robie was pre­de­ceased by brother, Ken, brother in law, Wayne Crowe, great friend, Lloyd Crowe; chil­dren, Thomas and Ger­ald in in­fancy; grand­daugh­ter, Han­nah in in­fancy.

Robie worked in the woods at var­i­ous lo­ca­tions, and also did work for Coop­ers Land­scap­ing. Robie was a very spe­cial man who touched the hearts of every­one who knew him. He was loved dearly and will truly be missed by all.

He was an avid hunter and fish­er­man who spent many nights at “his” par­adise camp on Nut­tby Moun­tain. Also many good times spent at the cabin in East New An­nan.

Cre­ma­tion has taken place with a time of visi­ta­tion be­ing held on Fri­day, Septem­ber 15 from 1-3 p.m. in Colch­ester Com­mu­nity Fu­neral Home, 512 Wil­low St., Truro. Com­mit­tal will fol­low in Tata­m­agouche Moun­tain Ceme­tery. If so de­sired, do­na­tions in Robie’s mem­ory may be made to the Tata­m­agouche Moun­tain Ceme­tery.
