Susan “Susie” Butlin

Truro Daily News - - PROVINCE -

BUTLIN, Susan “Susie” — 58, Bayhead. It is with heavy hearts and a great sense of loss that we announce her passing at home on Sunday, Sept. 17, 2017.

Born in Truro, she was a daughter of Marguerite “Peggy” (Chase) Hill and the late Ernie Hill.

Susie’s drive, honesty and professionalism built a very successful real estate career throughout the North Shore.

She travelled extensively and enjoyed working in her impressive flower and vegetable gardens. She also cherished time spent at her cottage with family, friends and her dog, Callie.

Susie is survived by her mother, Peggy; sons, Nathan (Annette); Ben (Randi); and Luke (Bobbi), all of Tatamagouche; her very special grandchildren, Taelen and Konnor; sister, Bev (Greg), Wallace; brother, Bruce, Truro; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband, David.

Susie will be sadly missed by all, especially her longtime friendship with the “Ya Ya’s”; her recent companion, Brian; and father of her sons, Glen.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, September 25, 2017 in Coulter’s Funeral Home, 48 Riverside Dr., Tatamagouche (902657-3288). Condolences may be sent to the family by visitingcfuner
