Anna El­iz­a­beth Dickie

DICKIE, Anna El­iz­a­beth, 83, Truro, Colch­ester County, passed away Sun­day, Septem­ber 24, 2017 in the Colch­ester East Hants Health Cen­tre, Truro with her fam­ily by her side.

Born in Selma, she was a daugh­ter of the late Arthur and Gertrude (Archibald) Whid­den.

Anna and her hus­band Peter owned and op­er­ated Glooscap Farms, Lower Onslow. She en­joyed paint­ing with her friends and had a great love for an­i­mals.

She is sur­vived by her sons Tony (Gail) of East Moun­tain, David (Karen) of Masstown; grand­chil­dren Ja­son, Jacob, Matthew, Thomas; great­grand­son Ethan; brother Ross (Vicki) of St. Cather­ine’s, Ont.; sis­ter Joan Johnson of Mat­tatall Lake; sev­eral

nieces and neph­ews.

Be­sides her par­ents, Anna was pre­de­ceased by her hus­band Peter Ed­ward Dickie; sis­ter, Alice.

Ar­range­ments are un­der the di­rec­tion of the Mat­tatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. No vis­i­ta­tion or funeral ser­vice by Anna’s re­quest. Burial will take place at a later date in the Onslow Clarke Ceme­tery, Lower Onslow.
