David Stephen “Davy” adams, 71, Londonderr­y, passed away suddenly on Monday, October 29, 2018, at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro, with his loved ones at his side. Son of the late Albert and Florence (Bird), Davy grew up in East Village/ Great Village as part of a close group of siblings and cousins. Survived by the daughter he gifted with a love of reading, Theresa (Frederick Beazley); his sidekick constant companion and best friend, David Jr. (Amanda); his treasured grandchild­ren,

Erik (Shyanne Macneil) and Hunter Adams and Ethan (Samantha Clark) and Kaelyn Beazley. He leaves behind his sisters, Judi (Jack) Leeman, Marie Peppard, Nancy, Kimberlee (Russell Jones); brothers, Claude (Elaine), Gerald, Carl (Lucy), Robert (Natalie), Cameron; numerous nieces, nephews and countless friends spanning several generation­s. Along with his parents, he was predecease­d by his beloved wife, Elda (Eagles); brother, Edward; brothers-in-law, Jack Peppard, Morris and Myles Eagles. In keeping with Davy’s wishes, and true to his nature, there will be no public service. Friends are invited to join us at the ‘Shop’ on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 2 pm for an afternoon of remembranc­e the way Dad wanted. If so desired, donations in Davy’s memory may be made to Elda’s favourite charity, The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
