Root out your ugliest Christmas sweater

TRURO, N.S. — People are encouraged to show o their ugly Christmas sweaters while taking part in a run/walk in Truro.

The Truro Run Tribe is hosting the Ugly Christmas Sweater Run, which includes an adult 5K, and adult 8K, as well as a one-lap around the TAAC Grounds walk/run for children. Entry fee is by donation to the Christmas Index Fund. Door prizes and refreshments, including homemade soup, will be o ered following the event. The run takes place at the Truro TAAC Grounds, 57 Golf St., on Sunday Dec. 2.

The children’s event starts at 8:30 a.m. and the adult run begins at 9 a.m.
