With Remembrance Day this Sunday, local reservists give their impressions of why it is important to never forget the sacri ces that were made.

One hundred years after the guns fell silent, six Canadian Army reservists describe what the First World War and Remembrance Day means to them.

Soldiers interviewed are currently serving with the First Battalion of The Nova Scotia Highlanders (North), based at the Truro Armoury.

Comments have been edited for clarity and, in some cases, length.
