Christmas at the Café being held at Truro Farmers’ Market

Truro Daily News - - COLCHESTER COUNTY -

People who want to join others for Christmas dinner are invited to enjoy a meal at the Truro Farmers’ Market.

Christmas at the Café has been held in the community for several years, given its name because it was first held at a café in Bible Hill.

Aaron Stevenson organized the event so people who might otherwise be alone on Christmas day would have others to share the holiday with.

He and other volunteers prepared and served the meal.

This year, Soul’s Harbour Rescue Mission is partnering to provide Christmas dinners for the event.

Doors open at 2 p.m. and there’s time to socialize and enjoy music and treats before dinner is served at 4 p.m.

Anyone interested in volunteering, making a donation for the meal, or with questions can message Christmas at the Café on Facebook ( www. facebook. com/christmasatthecafe/ ) or Aaron at [email protected]stevenson.com
