Pop Clas­sics re­turn to de­coste


Af­ter the de­but of Pictou County Pop Clas­sics’ new Quad Trib­ute show, held at the de­coste Per­form­ing Arts Cen­tre as part of the DEANS fundraiser this fall, many have asked for it again, ei­ther for a sec­ond view­ing or be­cause they missed it. It had been their 11th show, all of which have been sell-outs.

Pictou County Pop Clas­sics cast and crew, spear­headed by creative di­rec­tor and pro­ducer Mike Vi­en­neau, will be back on Satur­day March 2at 7:30 p.m. at the de­coste cen­tre.

The show pays trib­ute to four favourite artists and groups from the “Golden Age of Vinyl” in­clud­ing Neil Young, The Ea­gles, The Bea­tles, and Fleet­wood Mac.

“We’ve worked hard to cap­ture all the de­tails from the best songs of these great artists,” said Vi­en­neau.

The show takes au­di­ence mem­bers back in time to re­live those clas­sic pop tunes Karen Corbin-hughes is seen per­form­ing dur­ing the Quad Trib­ute show, part of the DEANS fundraiser held in the fall.
