Agency is set to move their of­fices

Dec. 24 is the last day that Big Brothers Big Sis­ters of Colch­ester will be op­er­at­ing out of its Lo­gan Street o ce.

The of­fice will be open from 8:30 a.m. un­til noon on Christ­mas Eve for any­one want­ing to en­ter the next Big Bucks draw, on Jan. 2.

at o ce will then be closed for good and the or­ga­ni­za­tion will be pre­par­ing for the move to its new lo­ca­tion on High­way 311 in North River in the for­mer Molly’s Dairy Bar.

“When we open up on Jan. 2 it will be in the new build­ing in North River,” said ex­ec­u­tive di­rec­tor Nick Sharpe.

Con­struc­tion at the new site is be­ing fi­nal­ized and the ren­o­va­tions “are look­ing good,” Sharpe said. And any­one still look­ing to pur­chase the Big Brothers Big Sis­ters Travel Lotto tick­ets should not put it o , he sug­gested, as sup­plies are very lim­ited. Be­sides the few left at their own o ce, Sharpe said the only other lo­ca­tion where the lotto tick­ets are still are still avail­able is at Mac­quar­ries Phar­masave on the Es­planade.
