Truro man receives probation for theft
TRURO, N.S. — A Truro man who pled guilty to stealing from a local supermarket was given a conditional discharge and placed on probation for 12 months. Jason Wayne Jones, 43, of Elm Street also pled guilty to breaching court undertakings by communicating with a woman after being ordered not to and for being intoxicated while not allowed to do so. He was fined a total of $250 for the latter two charges.
A charge of possessing stolen property was withdrawn by the Crown.
