Wildlife centre can use retired Christmas trees
HILDEN, N.S. — Some of those once brightly-decorated Christmas trees can serve another purpose after the Christmas excitement has died down.
The Cobequid Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre can use evergreen trees, with all decorations removed. The trees are placed in enclosures for birds to perch on, and for the eagles to haul around.
Trees can be dropped in front of the large, round enclosure – the Jeezley – at 2220 Irwin Lake Road, in Hilden.
