Midget AA Bearcats fall to Whalers, Flyers

TRURO, N.S. — The Truro Bearcats midget AA hockey team dropped a pair of recent games, falling 7-5 to the Dartmouth Whalers and 5-2 to the Sackville Flyers.

Against Dartmouth, Jonathan Macmillan netted a pair of goals, while Daniel Sampson, Christian Gloade and Riley Masters added single markers. Sam Stoddard, Daniel Mackenize, Jack Besalt, Kaleb Johnstone and Sampson had assists.

In the loss to Sackville, Stoddard and Macmillan scored for Truro and Sampson had an assist. The Flyers scored two empty-net goals in the dying minutes as the Bearcats pressed for the equalizer.
