Learning circle addresses environment and health
TRURO, N.S. — The connection between environment and health will be the focus of a learning circle at the Truro library, Feb. 5.
Mi’kmaq teacher, singer and lmmaker Catherine Martin will talk about the Mi’kmaq calendar and its focus on nature, weather and the moon cycle. Participants will have the opportunity to hold the Talking Stick and share their concerns with others. This event is o ered by the Nova Scotia Environmental Network and the Colchester-east Hants Public Library, with nancial assistance from the Truro & Area Community Health Board, and will be held in the Read Room of the Truro library, beginning at 6 p.m.
