7 DAY FORECAST, TRURO
CINDY SAYS: The messy winter storm that barrelled into the region will slow down in fact - almost stall just north of Prince Edward Island. Thankfully, it will have rained and snowed itself out by then. Because the low is not tracking eastward, we escaped the usual temperature plunge. We can expect a strong but mild SW wind on Thursday and an eventual wind shift to the West on Friday. That will allow colder air to funnel down behind the low and serve up a very cold weekend. I’m still watching an offshore low that could come close to the coast Monday night into Tuesday.
