CEC’S Adams named football MVP

Michael Adams of the Cobequid Cougars has been honoured by the Nova Scotia School Athletic Federation Football League.

Adams was named Scotia Conference most valuable player and was a league all-star at the quarterbac­k and kick returner positions.

The Grade 12 student also punted for the Cougars this season and was a linebacker.

Two other members of the Cougars were named to the all-star team – defensive lineman Ivan Gault and linebacker Jordan Waller.

e Cougars posted a 6-2 record in the regular season to nish in second place in the Scotia Conference and su ered a 15-8 loss to the Sir John A Macdonald Flames in a quarter- nal playo game.
