CEC’S Adams named foot­ball MVP

Michael Adams of the Cobe­quid Cougars has been hon­oured by the Nova Sco­tia School Ath­letic Federation Foot­ball League.

Adams was named Sco­tia Con­fer­ence most valu­able player and was a league all-star at the quar­ter­back and kick re­turner po­si­tions.

The Grade 12 stu­dent also punted for the Cougars this sea­son and was a line­backer.

Two other mem­bers of the Cougars were named to the all-star team – de­fen­sive line­man Ivan Gault and line­backer Jor­dan Waller.

e Cougars posted a 6-2 record in the reg­u­lar sea­son to nish in sec­ond place in the Sco­tia Con­fer­ence and su ered a 15-8 loss to the Sir John A Mac­don­ald Flames in a quar­ter- nal playo game.


Mike Adams of the Cobe­quid Cougars had an out­stand­ing sea­son and cap­tured MVP hon­ours in the NSSAFFL South Con­fer­ence.
