Eileen Florence Robin­son, age 88, of Glen Haven Manor, New Glas­gow and for­merly of Har­mony Road, Truro and Pic­tou passed away Septem­ber 14, 2019 in the Glen Haven Manor, New Glas­gow. Born in Stel­lar­ton, Septem­ber 11, 1931 she was a daugh­ter of the late Wil­liam Henry and Florence (Mackay) Weeks. She was a for­mer em­ployee of Mar­itime Pack­ers and the Shire­town Nurs­ing Home. Eileen was a life­time mem­ber of the Royal Cana­dian Le­gion Ladies Aux­il­iary, Branch No.16 was an avid card player and en­joyed bowl­ing and danc­ing. Eileen is sur­vived by her daugh­ter, Mar­garet (Ger­ald) Ste­wart, New Glas­gow; sons, Fred (Mary), Pic­tou, Joey (Louise), Air­drie, Al­berta; Kevin, Truro; brother, Bill (Deanne), Thor­burn; nine grand­chil­dren; thir­teen great­grand­chil­dren; nu­mer­ous nieces and neph­ews. She was pre­de­ceased by her son, James ‘Jim’; spe­cial part­ner, Sylvester Moore; sis­ter, He­len; broth­erin-law, Robert Cum­mings; brother, Fred; sis­ter-in law, Joyce Weeks; sis­ter-in-law, Edna Weeks. Visi­ta­tion will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in Mclaren Fu­neral Home, Pic­tou. Fu­neral will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday in Mclaren Fu­neral Home Chapel, Pic­tou with Fr. Peter Macdonald of­fi­ci­at­ing. Burial will be in Seav­iew Ceme­tery, with re­cep­tion to fol­low in the Stella Maris Church Hall.
