SAL­TER, Ralph Lee

Ralph Lee Sal­ter, 72, Truro, passed away Wed­nes­day, Fe­bru­ary 19, 2020 at home with his part­ner Don by his side. Born in Truro, he was the son of the late Ralph and Hazel (Ayles) Sal­ter. Ralph worked for sev­eral years as a clerk for the Nova Sco­tia Liquor Com­mis­sion in Truro. Ralph was a kind and con­sid­er­ate per­son with a great sense of hu­mor and en­joyed life to his fullest. He is sur­vived by his part­ner, Don­ald “Don” Macdon­ald. He was pre­de­ceased by a brother, Robert. Vis­i­ta­tion will take place on Fri­day, Feb. 21st from 2-4 p.m. in the Mat­tatall~varner Funeral Home 55 Young St., Truro. A grave­side ser­vice will take place on May 21st at 2 p.m. with Keith Sel­wyn­smith of­fi­ci­at­ing at the Ro­bie Street Ceme­tery, Truro. Do­na­tions in mem­ory may be made to the Colch­ester SPCA or to the Chil­dren’s Wish Foun­da­tion.
