CBA Tigers earn U12 provincial bronze
BIBLE HILL, N.S. – The Truro-based CBA Tigers captured the bronze medal at the Basketball Nova Scotia U12 Division 3 boys championship last weekend.
The Tigers defeated the Mainland Express in the third-place game during the championship tournament held at Dalhousie Agricultural Campus. CBA finished first in its pool following the preliminary round, but lost a semifinal crossover to the Pictou County Lightning.
Pictou County won the title after a victory over the Prospect Bulls in the gold-medal game.
Eight teams took part in the tournament. Others included St. Margaret’s Bay Slam, Dartmouth Celtics, Antigonish Junior X-men and the West End Steelers.
