Regional conference to discuss state of the industry
TRURO — The Central Nova Tourist Association ( CNTA) is gearing up to host a regional tourism conference to discuss the state of the industry.
The two day conference, scheduled for Feb. 28 and March 1, will include an evening tradeshow event and a full day of informative sessions relating to topics such as marketing, human resources and customer service training, social media, marketing levies, an update on local tourism initiatives as well as an open forum discussion.
The day will also include CNTA’s annual awards luncheon acknowledging those who have excelled in 2012 in categories including: accommodation, attraction, food and beverage, festivals and event, gift shop, ambassador, and “SuperHost” customer service.
Charlie A’Court will be performing Feb. 28 at the evening tradeshow, Wine and Cheese Networking Event at the Glooscap Annex ( Truro Power Centre).
