Nomination­s out for Music Nova Scotia awards

Vocal powerhouse Erin Costelo, and Canada’s hottest new pop artist, Ria Mae lead the pack with seven Music Nova Scotia award nomination­s each.

The awards will be presented Nov. 6 at Molson Canadian Nova Scotia Music Week (NSMW) in Truro.

Other artists who received multiple nomination­s for this year’s awards are Adam Baldwin, Ben Caplan and Classified.

This year, The Music Nova Scotia Awards Celebratio­n and Closing Party will take place on Sunday, Nov. 6 at the Holiday Inn Truro. All awards will be presented at the celebratio­n which beginS at 7 p.m. followed by a dance party featuring Asia & NuGruv with more artists to be announced.
