ROBICHEAU, Reginald Joseph “Reggie”, 72, of Truro, passed away suddenly on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017, at home.

Born in Plympton, he was a son of the late Payson and Lena (Deveau) Robicheau, of Plympton, N.S.

He was predecease­d by his brother, Jerry Robicheau. Reg is survived by his only daughter, Anne-Marie Robicheau, (Brookes Van-Tassell), Brookfield; son-in-law, Chum Mingo, Truro; his grandsons, Gavin and Cohen Mingo; step-grandsons, Rigby and Broden Van-Tassell; sister-in-law, Debbie Amero; nephew, Russell Robicheau.

Reg was an electricia­n for 49 years, and a member of IBEW Local 625. A man who never fully retired, in his spare time he enjoyed playing crib, prospectin­g, Monday night Tim Horton’s “meetings” with the boys club, and breakfast with his grandsons.

Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, and funeral service 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, all in the Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young St., Truro, with a reception to follow. Interment will be held at a later date.
