Vaughn Allen Corbett

Corbett, Vaughn Allen – age 74 years of Lawrencetown, passed away surrounded by his family at the Victoria General Hospital on August 4, 2017.

Born in Truro on November 4, 1942; he was the son of the late Murray and Viola (Barrett) Corbett. Vaughn was a proud member of the Canadian Military (RCEME) from 1960-1988. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved spending his free time hunting, boating and travelling. He recently fulfilled a lifelong dream of visiting Stonehenge.

Vaughn was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Lovingly remembered by his wife of 48 years Angela (Kennedy) Corbett; sons Jeffrey of Calgary, AB and Matthew of Abbotsford, BC; also by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Predeceased by his sister Marlene (Corbett) Bogart.

In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, 320 Flying Cloud Drive on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 12pm. Reception to follow in the church hall. Interment to take place at a later date in Bible Hill Cemetery.

Family flowers only please. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Royal Canadian Legion, Veterans Association (Nunavut Command) or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
