Summer Fun

TUES., AUG. 8: Summer Fun program for ages 4 to 7 at the library. Program runs from 10:30-11:15 a.m.

Heroes and Adventurer­s

TUES., AUG. 8 – Role-playing game night, Truro Public Library from 5:30 – 8 p.m.; we provide the supplies.

Fire Safety

THURS., AUG. 10: With Truro Fire Service at the library; story time, fire station tour, fire safety, viewing of fire trucks. Ages 5-12 years. Preregistr­ation required; limit of 30 participan­ts. 10:30 a.m. – noon.

Colouring for Adults

THURS., AUG 10 - Colour at Truro Public Library, 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. Supplies provided, or bring your own. Pre-registrati­on required: 902-895-4183.

Needlework Drop-in

THURS., AUG. 10 – Truro Public Library, 3 - 4:30 p.m.; work on needlework crafts; bring a project, or help knit a community project. Basic knitting, crochet instructio­n available. Ages 8 and up.

Wildlife Fun

SAT., AUG. 12: Library day at the Wildlife Park. Admission half price with a CEHPL library card; available at local branch or sign up at park. 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Family Show

TUES., AUG. 15: Jamie Junger, children’s singer/songwriter performing his family show, “Fishin for Pickles.” Show starts at 10:30 a.m. at the library.
