New residential development approved for Central Onslow
Approval has been granted by Colchester County council for development of two, four-unit townhouse buildings and a three-unit residential building along Highway 2 in Central Onslow.
The proposal is from Cullip Holdings Ltd., which plans to construct the new units beside an existing townhouse development near Mingo’s Corner.
The two, four-unit buildings will each measure 44 ft. by 160 ft., while the three-unit building will measure 44 ft. by 120 ft.
The new development be constructed next door to the existing senior complex called Fundy Gemstone Townhouses on Gemstone Place.
Mayor Christine Blair said the proposal received unanimous consent from council, in part because of the professionalism involved.
“They have all their plans in place, it was really well done,” she said.
