Connections Corner Meet the owners Sarah Bruce White First horse: Thoughtlessness – a graduate of the 2004 Atlantic Classic Yearling Sale. Sarah campaigned the daugher of Rayson Hanover in 2009 with co-owner Mandy Ellis.

Favourite horse: Her current charge, Just Lovey, a nineyear-old brown pacing mare, a regular contender at Truro Raceway.

Most memorable moment: Just Lovey, in line to Dale Spence, winning the $ 4,200 Wilson Fuel Mares Series final during the 2015 Atlantic Grand Circuit Week.

Favourite track other than Truro Raceway: Inverness Raceway. Sarah says the horse community as well as track management are friendly, accommodating and welcoming when “mainlanders” truck in to race.

Best part of harness racing: Sarah has been an avid horse lover since she was a “little girl,” so the best part of the sport for her is the “horse” and everything involved with the care and competition. She says she loves to see them do well on the track but if it is an off night she always looks forward to competing again on the next card.
