Hats o to Dylan Burton for being named Truro Bearcats captain for the 2018-2019 season.

The third-year Bearcat has been a solid performer in two previous seasons and is recognized by his peers as a hard working 200-foot player. He clearly leads by example and is respectfully welcomed to his position from all of his teammates. Dylan got his hockey start in the Bedford Blues minor program, continuing through the ranks to the association’s AA midgets. After one season at that level, he suited up with the Newbridge Academy Gladiators, helping that midget club win provincials, Atlantics and a crack at the Telus Cup. appearance.

The 2016 Bearcat pick had a strong rookie season, scoring 15 and assisting on 21 others, helping the Bearcats win their fourth MHL crown and a trip to the Fred Page Cup. Last year, he nished third in team scoring with 16 goals and 18 assists. He looks to lead the Bearcats into another strong campaign.
