CAMERON, James Edison
Hilden
It is with profound sadness that the family of James Edison Cameron announce the passing of their hero on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro at the age of 86. Born in Halifax, Jimmie was raised by his beloved
mother, the late Betty Cameron, in Springhill with his older siblings. After
proudly serving in Germany in the Canadian Army with the Royal Canadian Engineers, Jimmie returned to Springhill. There he eventually met the love of his life, the late Myrna (Marshall) and they were married for over 58 years before her passing. Jim is survived by his beloved daughters, who
think he is the best man they ever knew, Beth and Shyrl (David). Grampie also leaves his much cherished grandchildren, Amy (Tim), Heather (Don), TJ, Adam (Melissa), Ashlyn, Cameron (Cassie), Caitlyn (Scott) and
Dalton. Grampie's newest many loves were his 22 great grandchildren.
