The Scott’s Bay Community Hall Association hosted a spring breakfast on Mar. 21 with approximately 60 meals sold. Thanks to everyone who came out in support and to the helpers and stepped in to replace volunteers who unwell directors.
The Canning United Baptist Church is having a Maundy Thursday Service, 6:30 p.m., April 2. Please join us in observing a special Communion Service to commemorate the Last Supper Jesus celebrated with his disciples.

The Canning Baptist Church pancake breakfast will be April 4 from 7:30-10:30 a.m. The menu consists of pancakes, sausages, eggs, hash browns, toast, juice, coffee and tea. They are accepting a free will offering.

Ross Creek and Two Planks and a Passion Theatre present Under the Big Top, slated to take the stage April 11. The 21st annual fundraising gala will feature delectable dishes, astonishing art and enchanting entertainment. It begins at 6 p.m. with cocktails, viewing and entertainment, dinner by Cocoa Pesto and an auction at 7:30 p.m. A shuttle will be available from Wolfville, Kentville and Coldbrook. Tickets are $55 or $400 for a table of eight. Donations are welcome. Funds raised support Two Planks summer season of The Tempest and Turn of the Screw.
