The Music Man delights audiences

Quick As A Wink Theatre brought music, dance, romance and a bit of conniving to the stage this month with their rendition of The Music Man.

The popular musical, which dates back to the 1950s, was held June 2-4 and June 9-10.

Set in River City, Iowa, the musical focuses on Harold Hill, a travelling salesman who was out to swindle townsfolk of their money.

The show featured the tal- ents of more than four dozen local artists, whether behind the scenes, in the pit band, or on stage.

The main cast included Justin Brown (as Harold Hill), Becca Guilderson (as Marion Paroo), Donna Holmes (Mrs. Paroo), Gretchen Archibald and Swayer Brown (as Winthrop Paroo), Alan Slipp ( Mayor Shinn), Rachel Coldwell (Eulalie Shinn), Laura Gillis (as Zaneeta Shinn), Keigan Richards (Tommy Dji- las), Marc Hetu (Marcellus), Allan Abbott (Charlie Cowell), and Joni Aube and Neko Caufield (Amaryllis).

The show was directed by Thea Burton and produced by Holly Bye-Archibald.
