Val­ley woman rec­og­nized as top ad­vi­sor

A fi­nan­cial ad­vi­sor from the Val­ley Credit Union has been rec­og­nized as be­ing one of the top 10 per cent in Canada.

Cindy Viner, a wealth ad­vi­sor, was rec­og­nized re­cently by Qtrade Fi­nan­cial. She was se­lected on sev­eral cri­te­ria, in­clud­ing sales pro­cesses and busi­ness prac­tices for out­stand­ing re­sults; en­sur­ing rel­e­vant in­vest­ment/ fi­nan­cial plan­ning and ad­vice; con­sis­tently de­liv­er­ing a great mem­ber ex­pe­ri­ence; be­ing aware of and re­spon­sive to reg­u­la­tory and com­pli­ance re­quire­ments; and de­mon­strat­ing lead­er­ship and col­lab­o­ra­tion within the or­ga­ni­za­tion.

“This is a tremen­dous recog­ni­tion for Cindy, as well as for our or­ga­ni­za­tion,” ex­plained Len Ells, pres­i­dent and chief ex­ec­u­tive of­fi­cer of Val­ley Credit Union.

“We pride our­selves on de­liv­er­ing sound, rel­e­vant ad­vice, and also qual­ity prod­ucts and ser­vices for our mem­bers. The recog­ni­tion that Cindy has re­ceived is tes­ta­ment to the skills and ca­pa­bil­i­ties of our wealth team in as­sist­ing our mem­bers with build­ing their fi­nan­cial fu­tures.”

Viner has more than 20 years of sales ex­pe­ri­ence, 12 of which have been fo­cused on pro­vid­ing fi­nan­cial guid­ance and ad­vice. She grew up in Ma­hone Bay, set­tled in the An­napo­lis Val­ley with her fam­ily 20 years ago, and has called Sh­effield Mills home for the last 12 years. Viner has been lead­ing the wealth of­fer­ing for Val­ley Credit Union for the last two years.
