Patricia (Pat) Ann Fice passed away peacefully on Oct. 21, 2018, in Wolfville, NS, at the age of 76. Born on March 2, 1942 in England, she returned with her mother (a member of the British Auxiliary Territoria­l Service) to Canada as a baby and grew up in Ottawa and Toronto, attending the prestigiou­s Branksome Hall Girls School. She then worked in Montreal, PQ, for many years, moving to the Annapolis Valley, NS, near retirement to be close to her father, where she enjoyed living in Windsor, Wolfville and Canning. Pat will be missed by sister Julia in Toronto, brother Richard, sister-in-law Debbie and nephew Aric in Dartmouth, and nephew Kipp Campbell in Kentville. She is predecease­d by parents Eleanor (nee Kipp) of Ottawa, and Frank Fice of Wolfville. The memorial service to commemorat­e Pat’s life will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church, Wolfville, NS, on Saturday, Nov. 3 at 11 a.m. It will be followed by a small reception at the church; Pat very much enjoyed attending the social gathering after church services. Pat greatly loved animals, especially cats, hers and everyone else’s. Her family requests that donations be made in her memory to the Nova Scotia SPCA or any animal shelter. Her family also wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of Wolfville Nursing Homes for their kind and sensitive care.
