Forest Lakes development lights up the tree for the holidays
Forest Lakes Country Club recently held the community’s fourth annual Holiday Tree Lighting celebration.
With more than 75 people in attendance, it was deemed a successful event.
The Uniacke District School choir sang beautiful carols while the crowd sipped on hot apple cider, seemingly putting everyone in the holiday spirit.
Those who attended the event generously donated non-perishable food items to Feed Nova Scotia, making it the largest donation at this event to date.
Forest Lakes is a golf, residential-style community located in Ardoise. Although this was the last event of 2018, community events are hosted throughout the year, so be sure to check out the website (forestlakes.ca) to stay up to date on what’s happening in this exciting, new development in 2019.
