Mount Uniacke residents celebrated the start of the holiday season with a tree lighting, music, hot chocolate, and a visit from Santa Claus Dec. 2.

Santa made his way to the tree with the help of the Mount Uniacke Volunteer Fire Department before handing out candy canes to onlookers.

The tree, located at Heritage Corner, will be lit for the remainder of the holiday season.
