• Valentine Coffee Party — At the Berwick United Church, 240 Commercial St., from 10 a.m. until noon. A freewill offering will be collected.
• Bookmobile Visit — At the Beehive Centre in Aylesford from 9:15-10:15 a.m.; at the Springfield Fire Hall from 11:15 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. and at East Dalhousie Convenience in the Woods Store from 1:30-2:30 p.m. $8. There will be prizes and the canteen will be open. Info: 902538-9340.
• Valentine’s Day Dinner — The 10th Annual Valentine’s Day Dinner, sponsored by the Port Williams and District Lions Club, will be held at the Port Williams Community Centre at 7 p.m. Menu includes: champagne, roast beef dinner, dessert, tea and coffee. There will be bar services, door prizes and entertainment. In support of the Valley Regional Hospital Foundation for three blood pressure cuffs and monitors and chairs for the oncology department.
All tickets will be sold in advance for $50 per couple and are available from any member of the Lions Club or by calling 902-542-3933. Storm date: Feb. 15.

• Benefit Show — At the Waterville Fire Hall, for George and Anita Corbin who lost their home to fire on Dec. 27, 2019. Benefit runs from 1-4 p.m. and features Mark Clarke and Peter Harrison; Chris, Wayne and Friends; Fogey; Cold Fusion; and Addison Locke. A freewill offering will be collected. There will be a 50/50 draw and bake sale.
On Feb. 15, the Good Neighbour’s Club is having their 14th anniversary breakfast at the Centreville Community Hall from 7-10 a.m. A freewill offering will be collected at the door. Menu consists of eggs, bacon, sausages, juice, coffee, tea, homemade hash browns, homemade beans, and toast.
From 7-9 p.m. at Bishop Hall in Greenwich, 10032 Highway 1. No experience or partner is required. Drop ins welcome. Cost: $3. Occurs weekly on Wednesdays.
• Luncheon — The Loyal Workers of Port Williams
United Baptist Church invite visitors to the group’s “Spread the Love” hamburger soup/corn chowder luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $8 per person and, as always, there will be a great array of desserts, fresh breads, tea and coffee. (Snow date is Feb. 20).
