One of the city’s finest award-winning restaurants, located within the landmark Metropolitan Hotel, Diva recently welcomed Georges. After decades of training with some of Europe’s top chefs, including Nice and Monaco, Georges was l ured t o Vancouver for a new gastronomic adventure.
“I love working with local farmers and being able to purchase fresh organic produce and herbs grown specifically for Diva,” says Georges, who hails from the Normandy region of France. “It’s simple really; buy the best ingredients and you get better results.”
Georges and his team bring to Diva a true respect for ingredients and a reputation for highlighting them through both traditional and modern cooking techniques.
The final flourish of your meal – the dessert - is created masterfully by Italian-born pastry chef Emiddio Isernia, whose tiramisu is possibly the best in the city.
Diva features new and globally inspired wines, handcrafted cocktails featuring fresh, local fruits in season, and craft beers.
Diva at the Met continues its trademark tradition of elevating food to an artistic shape and form; all of their dishes are inspiring masterpieces.
