And just as patients depend on these health care professionals, VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation depends on its volunteer board for their unmatched leadership. The Foundation is the registered charity that raises funds for advanced, often life- saving medical equipment, world- class research and innovative patient care initiatives at these hospitals. The generosity of donors has enabled the Foundation to continue to help deliver the best of health to British Columbians. Great hospitals have to be built on strong foundations.
