Commissioner gets contract extension
The Canadian Football League has signed commissioner Mark Cohon to a three- year contract extension. “Our board of governors is unanimously pleased to have Mark at the helm at a time of positive growth and enormous potential for our league,” said John Butler, chair of the CFL’S board of governors. Cohon took over the post in 2007 from Tom Wright. He became the 12th commissioner in league history. The league will hold the 100th Grey Cup this year in Toronto.
