We’d have given you a bigger number, but it would have taken up too much room: 855,596. That’s how many people have completed the Vancouver Sun Run since it was launched 27 years ago, in 1985. The annual 10- kilometre race through downtown attracts competitive and amateur athletes, people who have never run before, walkers and young families, with a 2.5- km Shaw Mini Sun Run for kids.
