The 2010 Olympics were one of the biggest events in the history of The

Vancouver Sun. While The Sun and The Province share the same building ( and the same publisher, sales staff , library and printing plant) the editorial departments are two distinct, competitive groups. Due to the demands of covering the Games, however, the two papers joined forces for the month of February 2010. Joined by other writers and photographers from the chain, the paper had 54 journalists accredited to cover the Games.
