FLYING DUCKS MAY KEEP SELANNE

The resurgence of the Anaheim Ducks in recent weeks has tempered trade talks surrounding veteran winger Teemu Selanne. The 41- year- old has 20 goals and 33 assists in 60 games with the Ducks this season and will be a free agent at the end of the season. With the Ducks within six points of a playoff spot entering play today, there’s reason to believe Selanne will stick around. “There’s good things going here right now,” Selanne told the Orange County Register. “We all really believe we can make it to the playoffs. It hasn’t been on my mind at all.”
