Vogue Theatre, show 8 p. m. The much- lauded orchestral- pop composer won the 2007 Polaris Prize , and nearly did it again with his next album, which hit the short- list in 2009. Watson’s new record, Adventures in Your Own Backyard, is yet another work of unerring elegance ( and doubtless a third- time Polaris contender, NPR already predicting it the best of 2012). Recorded live off - the- fl oor in his Montreal loft — which inspired the band to “really dig into writing and arranging” — many of songs are inspired by the fi lm composer Ennio Morricone.
